If you have just purchased a truck, new or used and it has tons of stickers on it, taking them off is aggravating but possible. To remove truck stickers from the windows, soak the entire sticker with hot water and slowly peel it off.

The first thought will be to use a razor blade; however, a blade should only be used to remove stickers from windows. If you try to remove stickers from painted areas with a razor you could damage the paint. It is much easier to try another option than scratching the paint.

If the stickers are in the window from the dealership they are a little simpler to remove. Spraying WD40 on the sticker until it is saturated the peel off with your fingers or use a single straight edge razor. Use a good window cleaner to clean the window after the sticker is removed so you can get any remaining solvent off of the glass.

Buying a used vehicle with bumper stickers on it can be challenging to remove them. Often they have been on the bumper for quite some time making them harder to remove. Trucks that have bumper stickers can be lower in value. If you have a truck that you may sell at some point, either do not put them on or remove them before you list the truck.

If a sticker has been on the bumper for a while it will take some patience to remove it. Wet the sticker with hot water. Let the water soak into the sticker then slowly peel it away from the bumper. After the paper is removed some glue may remain. Spray a solvent for glue removal to get the glue off. After the sticker has been removed wash the bumper with soap and water to get the remaining solvent off.

When there are stickers on areas of the truck with paint the easiest way to remove them is with regular household cooking oil. Soak entire sticker with oil and allow to sit for few minutes before peeling away with your fingers or a soft cloth.

For stubborn stickers you will have to repeat which ever process you are using until the sticker comes free. Often the paper will come off and leave the glue behind. If this happens, use cooking oil to remove the glue and clean the vehicle with soapy water to clean off remaining glue and oil.

A hair dryer can also be used to remove truck stickers. Use caution if doing this as the paper can become extremely hot to the touch. Only use a hair dryer on glass or to remove from the bumper as the heat may damage paint. If you are purchasing a new vehicle from a dealership, often times they will remove their stickers if you ask. Stickers are hard to remove, can damage your vehicle and can make the resell value less than expected so to avoid future frustrations, think twice before placing stickers on your vehicle.
